Missionaries In Action
This past weekend Jeff was invited to preach at a small village church outside Tanda. He is still learning French, the primary language of Cote d'Ivoire, so he had to use a translator to speak. The church was crowded and people were standing out the door to hear him share the Gospel and his story.
The young man to Jeff's right while he is speaking is 'Moses.' He is actively involved with The 1040 Initiative and their work in his country. He has helped on construction projects, translates, and helped deliver the shipping container to Tanda.
A tradition in the churches in that area is that everyone walks outside after service and shakes hands with one another. It is exciting to see how many children are involved in the church!
