Construction Update #12

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

The Children's Home is almost complete! All of the tile is laid, including bathroom walls. The painters are finished with the interior and exterior of the Home and the color looks great! We hope it is dark enough that it will not show dirt easily, but we made sure to use oil based paint so we could wipe them down without removing the paint. 

The electric should be complete today. They are finishing up, installing the last of the outlet covers, and etc. The hot water heater should be installed today. 

All of the doors have been installed since taking these pictures and the trim is also finished. 

We are waiting on the mason to complete the guard shack (which is part of the interior wall). He also has a few items to complete in the kitchen. 

BEYOND CONSTRUCTION

Jeff & Tawnya have already met with 5 potential children (3 girls and 2 boys) for the Home. The girls visited and were given a tour of the current construction. The plan is for children to officially begin living in the Home in September.
